matinee_idyll: New Administrator

Due to other commitments taking up so much of time, i've decided that it's time to hand over admin responsibilities to someone who can give this neglected little community the attention it needs. If you are interested, please leave a comment introducing yourself and telling me why I should choose you to take the reigns.

*poke* This community is rather dead... and we can't have that, because The Goodies are much too fantastic to have the internet fail them. XD

Perhaps this will liven things up?

staystrange: Bit of shameless promotion here.

If you like The Goodies, why not do these three exciting things?

1. Visit this website for information on The Goodies and past, present and future projects involving Tim, Graeme and Bill.

2. Sign this petition to ask the BBC to repeat The Goodies

3. Join the Saucy Gibbon Forum for Goodies-related chat.

staystrange: ISIHAC recording

I'm going to the ISIHAC recording on 7th May at the Colliseum. I'd love to meet Tim, Humph, Graeme and Barry afterwards - anyone know the best place to go to do this? Bar, stage door...?

staystrange: Goody Morning

I'm new here so thought I'd introduce myself. I'm 16, female and live in London (England). My 70s British Comedy addiction started at around age ten when I discovered Python and has since progressed, covering a wide range of programmes on both TV and radio. I must say, though, that my all time favourite is... The Goodies! They are by far the funniest - I can't understand why they are so much less remembered than Python. I'd say that Graeme is my favourite, as he reminds me a bit of me. Favourite episode? The End, Earthanasia and Radio Goodies.

jerichospin: T' secret of Ecky Thump

I got into a discussion with one of my library customers the other day about which martial arts were the best.  I mentioned my Uncle Izzy, The Golders Green "Oy Vay" champion.

    He didn't get the joke.....

Incidently, my father actually is a northerner, and may have learnt Ecky-Thump in his youth. He does like black puddings

gauroth: Black pudding is so yummy!

Went away with the old man a couple of weeks ago, and ate Black Pudding and Pancetta Salad for supper, and scrambled eggs with black pudding for breakfast. Oo, it was good!
